Didn't get a chance to donate? No problem! We're raising $2,000 by Thanksgiving. This money will support Suubi's Community Outreach Days, a way for Suubi to fundamentally transform Budondo through education and prevention. Here's the break down:
$100 = 100 HIV tests
$50 = 5 Malaria treatments
$20 = 20 Outreach Day Examinations

Today this 18 month girl came in with such severe malaria that she was having full body convulsions. By the afternoon she was happy and playing with us. Only one week earlier, her little baby sister was born at Suubi! The whole family has experienced the love and magic that is Suubi Health Centre.
Without an Ultrasound
"Last week, a pregnant woman came to Suubi suffering from severe pain. She was going into premature labor because of very bad malaria that was threatening her life. Our health team did their very best, but were unable to save the baby's life. Our midwife told us that same evening that if Suubi owned an ultrasound, they probably would have been able to save the baby's life. In that moment, we decided that it was too important to ignore. We must purchase an ultrasound."
Since our opening only 3 months ago, The Suubi Health Center has been recognized as the best clinic in a region of 56,000 people. Over 500 patients have been seen, 15 babies delivered, free immunizations for children dispensed and every Wednesday is Community Outreach Day! The word is spreading and the people in Budondo are seeking health services more than ever!

We are so pleased to unveil our brand new motorbike ambulance. It is such a huge step in transporting patients in need of immediate emergency care. It's already been put to use! It's just another way that your support has made an impact.
Community Outreach Day!
Suubi will dedicate every Wednesday to giving free immunizations to children and weighing babies to check nutrition levels. It is so important to spread health education in the community. Suubi is the only clinic in the region with an outreach program!
