Rain and Water

Since early February, we have been working on a water system for Suubi. By taking advantage of the heavy rains that come twice a year, the Suubi Health Center will be able to have reliable access to water in it's own back yard. We dug a pit deep enough to hold over 70,000 liters of water. Then found the best contractor around to cement it, attach a rainwater catchment on the roof, and install a pump, pipes, sink and filtration. Soon, rainwater will be collecting and Suubi will have a constant flow of clean water! Here's our progress in photos:
