Who knew that fireworks OF ALL KINDS are totally legal in Omaha for the 4th of July?!! Seriously, people everywhere in town were setting off fireworks. As we waited for the "real" display, there was a long and steady steam of booming, crackling fireworks - on the nearby sidewalks, in residential driveways, exploding in the skies near and far on all sides. Crazy and fun! And such a beautiful warm night.
Also enjoyed exploring Omaha with Michelle Davis, longtime Menlo Park neighbor and friend.
And fell in love with her affectionate dogs Blaze and Kira. Thanks Michelle for a great time!
